Are you puzzled or downright perplexed by your dog's behaviors and communication?

Are you a dog owner who is having trouble understanding your dog's communication? Are you perplexed by the behavior issues you've been having with your dog despite putting a lot of time and effort into their training?

Feeling perplexed or puzzled by your dog's behaviors and communication?

Or perhaps you are a dog expert or dog nerd who has a good grasp of the basics of communication but are having trouble seeing how everything fits together.

Whether your dog is struggling with problem behaviors like submissive urination, jumping up on houseguests, or lunging and barking at dogs and strangers on the leash, hyperactivity or you simply want to improve communication and strengthen your relationship with your dog (or the dogs of your clients if you are a dog pro), the benefits of improving your ability to read and respond to your dog's social communication micro-signals are profound.

The truth is that misunderstandings are often the root of behavioral and relationship challenges with dogs. These challenges can be swiftly rectified by simply learning to read and respond to social communication.

With our on-demand Core Essentials: Social Communication course, you'll gain the clarity and confidence you need to communicate more effectively with your dog and open up a world of new possibilities!

In this "bite-sized" self-paced course, you will learn:

  • The relationship between a dog's social network, attachment, trust, and social communication.
  • The social communication framework: a dynamic tool for "speaking doggish"
  • The relationship between social signals, appeasement signals, flight signals, and aggressive signals
  • Social, appeasement and aggressive micro-signaling (think: nuance!)

I really enjoyed this webinar by Karen and Cat. It really put into perspective why my herding dog (Corgi) reacts to his environment in such a way. I have several new resources to use now to help us on our reactive dog journey. I enjoyed the video examples of the working dogs, those really helped me see how my dog's breed was meant to react to his surroundings...my corgi is not a calm golden retriever! The thrive learning system has really helped me to see my dog in a new light, and I am excited to work through our roadmap to success :) Thanks Karen and Cat for the new insight!

This course is absolutely amazing. I have struggled to understand my Australian Shepherd and her reactivity for years. It provided so many tools to help my aussie and I navigate the world together, and how to help her understand and behave in certain senarios. This session made me understand how her being a herding dog is a contributing factor in her more "unpleasant" behaviours. I am looking forward to more sessions in particular to herding breeds as well as general information. This video was very thought-provoking and so interesting. If I could rate it 1000 stars, I would! Thank you guys for putting this together!
